The Listen Charity

The Listen Charity started by asking the public how they wanted a fund-raising campaign to work. In response to what they said, the Listen Charity has designed a unique and simple way for you to help the world's most disadvantaged children.

Firstly it pre-declares the projects to which your money will go... then it gives you regular reports on the effect your money has had. The Listen Charity provides you with a fast and effective way of getting your gift to children's projects in the field. It gives you five reports over two years of the effect your money has had.

The Listen Charity is a registered charity whose objects are: " For the public benefit anywhere in the world, in particular but not exclusively, for the benefit of children and young people:  for relief of poverty, sickness and distress, the advancement of education and such other exclusively charitable purposes as the Company may decide ".    The Listen Charity is audited by Deloitte & Touche.

The Listen Charity is registered in the U.K.

(Reg. Charity No. 1079446) and is a company limited by guarantee incorporated in England.  (Reg. Company No: 3735892 )

Registered Office:    Unit 1 Euro Way, Blagrove, Swindon, SN5 8YW

The Listen Charity will:

PRE-DECLARE: the 200 projects it will fund each year before it asks for your donations. See "Our projects".

REPORT-BACK: to you, the donor, five times in two years on the effect your money has had on the lives of the children helped by these 200 projects.

BE HIGHLY EFFICIENT: Get your gift to the projects on the ground as quickly as possible.

100% of what leaves your pocket will go to the Listen Charity. None will go to fund the campaign.

90% of what leaves your pocket helps to improve children's lives.

Only 10% will be used for: credit cards, debit cards, banking costs, selecting, vetting, monitoring, auditing, and REPORTING BACK TO YOU.
