Susan is an advisor to The Listen Charity; she has over 20 years experience in national and international philanthropy, public policy and human rights. Susan comes to us from running Lord Sainsbury of Turville’s Pro Bono Programme, where she built the Centre for Cities, a nonpartisan research organisation which studies and strengthens city economies, and the independent cross-party Institute for Government which works to improve government for the practical benefit of citizens. For more than a decade she was a Trustee of the Sigrid Rausing Trust, funding human rights initiatives across the world. Susan sits on the boards of Rand Europe, China Dialogue and the Royal Literary Fund. Susan is a former Fellow of Magdalen College, Oxford and presenter of Radio Three's Nightwaves; currently she is a Visiting Professor in Public Policy at Kings College London.
